Sometimes I find that there is more to the scenes that I capture. The beach and water offer an opportunity to see the beauty, tones, textures and colours is a way that only I see them. I use various techniques to bring those out in an image. In some you might find hints of Galen Rowell landscapes.

I am also running a 'Caught in time' project using long exposures to differentiate the still from the moving. This is expressed through beach scenes where people are either active and enjoying the movement, or they are still - lying down sunbathing, standing in one spot, watching the waves or sea.
